Yachtdomain Expands its Operations in South East Queensland

Expanding on the success of its regional office at Port of Bundaberg, Brisbane based International Brokerage House Yachtdomain Pty. Ltd. has launched another Marina- based office in South East Queensland. The new office is based at Scarborough Marina on the busy waterways at the northern end of Moreton Bay. Scarborough is the gateway to the Bay, for boats arriving from overseas, and offers sailors bound for the Great Barrier Reef a final stopover for fuel, chandlery and haul-out facilities. The Yachtdomain Scarborough office is located in the main Marina office building, overlooking the busy Scarborough marina. The refurbished offices will house Yachtdomain Pty. Ltd.'s Scarborough Brokerage operations, as well as it's high quality new vessel brands, Leopard Catamarans, and Steber Powerboats. It is also the Australian commissioning and warranty base for the Nordhavn range of exceptional powerboat passagemakers.

Good news for all boaties too is that the Yachtdomain Scarborough Sales Team will be headed up by iconic Marine Industry figure Don Lees.  A qualified Shipwright originally from New Zealand where he developed a love of sailing, Don came to Sydney, Australia during the 1960's. He first worked at the renowned Halvorsen Yard at Ryde before teaming up with business partner Heuchmer to form Compass Yachts Australasia, who during the seventies were Australia's largest yacht builder, designing and building production GRP yachts for local and overseas markets. Don has a long career in Marine Consulting, and for the last five years has been a partner in the former Brokerage firm of Scarborough Boating Sevices.

Sharing the Sales role with Don at the Yachtdomain Scarborough office will be an experienced team of Yacht Brokers, including Mike Harper, Rob Devers, Simon Vials and newcomer Matt Hansen. Their combined vision for the new Yachtdomain Scarborough Office can be summed up thus; "Our major goal is to successfully negotiate and conclude transactions so that all parties are unequivocally satisfied".
