Charter Vessels Operators Division

The Charter Vessel Operators Division, established in October 2008, is the lastest division to join Marine Charter 02Queensland.

Major concerns for 2009 are being included and treated as a professional sector in the management of the fishery and the habitats in which we operate.

Charter 01The charter division will continue to advance it's profile as a division of Marine Queensland.  Some issues such as the structuring and management of the charter sector through negotiations with the DPI&F will be mainly for the benefit of charter members.

Others, such as sensible habitat management, ensuring secure access to the marine resource and being included in the Moreton Bay Marine Park Structural Adjustment Package will be better realised through the collective power and representation of the united divisions of Marine Queensland.

  • Coral Sea Heritage Park;
  • The Moreton Bay Marine Park;
  • The Rocky Reef Fin Fish Review;
  • Industry Accreditiation of Licenced Operators.
