Firstly can anybody tell me if there is a petition to sign to support MBAA proposal. We are the owners of a 42ft HouseBoat that is currently in Elimbah Creek, We are a family of 5 and quiet frequently travel to Mission Point and LimePocket main channel, at times we have been caught in severe thunderstorms staying at Mission Point, the wind speeds were in excess of 60knots, we have once dragged anchor and hit the beach, with over 30metres of chain out. Needless to say we seek shelter in Lime Pocket main anchorage quite frequently. To be able to fish and crab we feel these laws will push us out into more open waters. I would like to hear from anyone else who has had similar experencies and has to take shelter in Lime Pocket also it is the best anchorage in the Bribie Passage, are far as fishing goes we keep very little, 3 crabs and 2 fish last year and do enjoy the right to fish in a safe haven for the night. Yours sincerely Tim O'Brien
